I have two drop side cribs that our girls have finally
transitioned out of and I am trying to figure it if
they can still be used or if they just have to be
trashed. I thought I heard something about drop side
cribs not being sold, but I havent really been paying
attention, so don't know what the deal is.I'd
appreciate any info on this. Thanks,Dale

It's illegal to sell them now, we are going to be stuck
with four! In theory someone can fix the sides and make
them safe by new standards. I guess the best would be
to find a family who can take them off your hands and
 attach the sides.

6. Full-time Twins Nanny Position in San Francisco
--------------------------------------------------------
djkt604 - 12/11/2011 4:27 pm

My husband and I are looking for a nanny to care for
our twin boys, born in early September. The position is
full-time (40-45 hours per week). We'd like someone who
can start January 3rd or possibly sooner and is
available to work for at least one year. We live in the
Potrero Hill neighborhood of San Francisco and work
nearby. If you know anybody who is a good fit for this
job, please pass along my contact information
 (below).Thank you,Katie 510-872-6476djkt604 at gmail.com

Congratulations on your twin pregnancy!Yes, it works
fine. We used 2, sometimes 3, night nannies. One
worked solo: Sara Stuart. 887-8308. The other, Rosa
Williams, works with her cousin. Between the two of
them, they could cover most nights we needed support.
Rosa's number is 606-7051.I agree with the previous
response that if you are working with seasoned pros,
like these women, you'll be in good hands. People do
have different ways of doing things, so it's best to
make sure everyone is on the same page about sleep
training, etc. if you go in that direction and keep
your night nannies that long. In the first months, it's
pretty routine, so there shouldn't be much
 variation.All the best
