1. JCC Childcare - good, bad experiences? Other city gyms with
good childcare options?

 I visited the JCC childcare center last week to learn
 about information sessions and happened upon a
 situation that made me rethink taking my infant twins
 there. Before entering the room, I could see through
 the window an infant in a swing red-faced and wailing. 
 She appeared to be the only child there with no adults
 around. I knocked on the door and someone proceeded to
 buzz me in. The adult (presumably the only caretaker
 in the room at the time) had been on the computer and
 showed no signs of remorse for leaving the child there
 alone. When I made a comment that I was now
 questioning bringing my child there, her response was
 simply, "Oh, her. She's just upset her dad left her." 
 Potentially this was all totally legit and there may
 have been a lot more behind the scenes that made the
 situation okay but, from what I saw, it appeared as
 though the child had been left to scream her head off
 in the swing for no reason while the "caregiver" was
 busy typing away on the computer. I'm curious if
 others have had positive or negative experiences with
 the JCC childcare and also, if there are other gyms in
 the city that offer good childcare options? Many
 thanks for your insights.
