2. Sharing a hotel room with 1 year old twins?
--------------------------------------------------------
njameson - 9/26/2011 10:39 pm

The good news is we're going to Mexico. The not-as-good
news is we will be sharing a hotel room with our 1 year
old twin boys. Any advice on how to arrange things so
that we don't have to whisper and shuffle around the
room in the dark after they go down (typically 7:30PM)?
And any advice on how to sleep in the same room with
them? They still wake up to chat in the middle of the
night, and I imagine it will be hard to go back to
sleep when they start cooingThanks for any help!

twiggins40 - 9/26/2011 5:45 pm

Hi,A friend's friend is looking for an au pair for her
two recently adopted young children. She is a single
mom who was looking to adopt one child and ended up
adopting two siblings. I'd appreciate leads to
     individuals or respected services. Thanks!Trish

We went through Pro Au Pair (http://proaupair.com/),
who specialize in au pairs with a child-related
certification. In our case, we matched with a pediatric
nurse. Really happy with the agency and notice their
girls tend to be a bit more mature (typically over 21).
It's a bit more expensive than a 'regular' au pair
agency, but we really are so happy with our Laura!

Hi there. We are really happy with our pediatrician -
Dr. Stacy Drasen w/ CPMC! She is really great with our
two year old boys - and is very attentive and
pro-active when we need her to be. We ended up leaving
our first Pediatrician because she didn't seem to
listen to us when we thought one of our boys needed
extra attention. (You can feel free to email if you
would like me to explain in more details.. ) but we are
super happy we switched to Dr. Drasen!!She's located in
Laurel Village3801 Sacramento Street, #219 San
          Francisco, California 94118 (415)

Hi! I'm also in Noe Valley with 4 month old twins!
(and there is at least another mom in Noe with 4 month
old twins, too, we try to get together to walk but last
week we had coffee without the babies.) I am
determined to get to La Boulange one of these Fridays
but our feeding schedule just hasn't allowed me to make
it. Email me if you'd like to get together or chat:
