You should contact my girlfriend, Hilleary Wright, a
mom of girl twins. She developed a leash made from a
surfboard/kiteboard leash for her stroller and it works
really well. Both she and I live in super hilly areas
of town and the leash is awesome! Also, get a more
 robust stroller!hilleary at hotmail.com

We go to Children's Choice Pediatric Dental Care at
2480 Mission St, Ste 324. They've been very good with
 our girls.

premises you can use for free.

Hi Sarah,I have a scale that I bought before my kids
were born. Never used it, because they were born at
full term. It's still in the box with receipt. I was
about to gift it to friends who are expecting twins,
but I can get them something else. I think I paid $120
for it. If you want it for $50, I am happy to sell it
 to you. Let me
 know.CheersGedalia_________________From: Sarah Chandler

They are tiny (born at 36 weeks, 3 days due to
 monochorionic twins) - 4lbs 10oz and 4lbs 12oz at
birth.Wondering if anyone has ever rented a scale (or
knows where we can rent one) to monitor weight at home
until they are 6lbs or so?Thanks so much,SarahAdd your

If you're near CPMC on California St., you can weigh
them for free at Newborn Connections. Congratulations!

I rented a scale from Day One for what ended up being 3
 months. It was great.

I know Day One rents them; I think Natural Resources
does, too. When I checked, late last summer, it was
$30/week, so if you can get a deal on one - like
Gedalia's - it's probably worth buying, and reselling
when you're done. Or, as noted above, you can go to Day
One and weigh them for free - but you have to get
yourself and your newborns over there! Congratulations!
In some circles - like most NICUs - 4.5 lbs+ is pretty
 big!

I bought this one when my babies were little and would
 recommend

 it:http://www.diapers.com/p/the-first-years-american-red-cross-soothing-baby-scale-22016It's
$60, but we still use it now to weigh them once a month
(at 2 and a half!). Probably not that much pricier
than a rental for several months.Congratulations on
 your baby boys!

Congrats on your new babes! When we were taking the
boys home from their 3 weeks in the NICU, the
neonatologist on staff said and I quote "Good ol' San
Francisco Tap is fine for formula. You don't have to
boil it or do anything special". We had a filter
already on our sink which we did end up using. But
seriously, I did not stress about it and with twins,
believe me, the concept of boiling water or whatever
was so exhausting! I just had a stash of pre-filled
bottles for the night that we topped off with powdered
formula as needed. Or have a pitcher of britta ready
to go in the nursery. Do whatever is going to make
your life as easy as possible bcs those first 6 weeks
 home are BRUTAL!
