We find that Costco is a great outing - you can combine
a fun outing with a productive shopping trip. Similar
with target...otherwise, I'm a huge fan of Recess -
maybe at 10 weeks it's still a bit early, but I would
whole heatedly recommend it starting at 8-10 months
(it's good before that, too, but a life saver once they
start waking). I also did a lot of stroller trips to
the Academy of Sciences. It's fun for mom, and the
aquarium is really fun for stroller bound or ergo-bound
infants. The de young museum and its cafe is fun, too.

Not sure where you live but I heard if a place called
tot gym in the Richmond. It's more for when babies are
a bit older crawling at least. I'm going to try it when
mine are older.

For a change, try Japantown.

Also, only one person will be allowed in the operating
room with you. And they will ask you if you want that
person to be there while you get the spinal or if you
want them to come in after it has been put in.

If you're at UCSF they won't let anyone in while they
insert the spinal-- apparently they had too many
husbands faint on them!
