I like the sound of THAT!! I received this very
interesting email from a former POM member that I
wanted to pass along to our membership, about an
upcoming Mom-themed performance project... Here it
 is:+++++++++++++++++++I am co-producing and directing a
show called Listen to Your Mother in San Francisco on
May 10, 2012. Listen to Your Mother features live
readings by local writers on the beauty, the beast and
the barely-rested of motherhood, in celebration of
Mother's Day. Born of the creative work of mothers who
publish on-line, each production is directed, produced
and performed by local communities, for local
communities.More information can be found [via
link/website below]. This year there will be similar
shows in 10 cities across the country. We are
currently seeking local writers to read their original
essays on any aspect of motherhood. Auditions will be
held on February 25th and you need not be a writer to
audition or even a woman, just someone with a unique
perspective on the subject of mothers and motherhood.
I've attached our audition flyer with more specific
information or the link below has all the information
 as
 well.http://www.listentoyourmothershow.com/sanfrancisco/2012/01/24/big-news/We
would be so grateful if you could share the flyer or
link with your membership via the list-serve. We are
not asking for anyone to buy anything, we simply want
to get the word out that we are looking to give
motherhood a microphone in the Bay Area and would
welcome any submissions from SFPOM members.Thank you so
 much,Kirsten Patel

I am going to tell it to you straight: Returning to
work full time at 6-8 weeks would be rough. You may
still be healing, you will not be sleeping much (even
if your husband is the lead caregiver) and your babies
will be demanding. 6-8 weeks is when a lot of twin
moms first start getting out of the house on their own
with the babies in tow. If you can, find a way to
extend your leave and ease back in.

agree with all the positives. The BIGGEST positive at
the very end was how quickly our twins potty trained.
My daughter pretty much decided she was done @ 2 yrs
and switched to panties overnight and never looked
back. my son was about a 3 month transition but only
one or two accidents at night and a couple at nursery
school and then he was on his way too.We used
disposables when we were traveling. We also kept a big
stash of diaper covers so we didn't have to clean them
everytime. We'd wash them in the washer whenever we
did laundry. One other bonus, the Tiny Tot team were
great with diaper/potty training tips. (our twins are
 10 yrs now.)
