Hello, we are in search of a full time nanny for our 5
month old twin boys. We are in San Mateo, walking
distance to downtown Burlingame. Any referrals or
 suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Lemon juice keeps an avocado from browning. I would
put a little on the avocado before you put it on the
 sandwich.

You can do it!!! I was induced at 38 weeks and babies
came a day later. At 36 weeks, I threw a hissy fit in
the doctor's office begging her to please take those
babies out. I am 5'3" and gained 60 pounds. I was too
big to drive. I hadn't slept in my bed in a month (too
uncomfortable) so I was on the couch, with terrible
insomnia. At 36-37 weeks, I read the entire Twilight
series in three nights. I couldn't go to the movies
because it was too uncomfortable to sit in the seats.
It was September 2009, and it was in the middle of a
heat wave, and it was over 80 degrees in my house, and
I was so miserable. I know how you're feeling!!!!!!
My last ultrasound estimated both babies at over six
pounds, but my boy ended up being 5 lbs, 8 oz and my
girl was 5 lbs, 13 oz. We stayed in the hospital 4 days
even though I had a vaginal delivery (I was discharged
after 2 days, but they let us keep the room), because
the babies were small and lost some weight and they
wanted them to keep eating and growing. So I'm so glad
I toughed it out those last few weeks, because I know
that if my babies were born earlier, we would have
stayed in the hospital even longer and they would have
been even smaller. Also, they might have had trouble
sucking and eating. You can do it!!!! And if you have
another bout of panic/depression/hopelessness, etc. and
feel like you can't complain to your husband or anyone
else, you are more than welcome to call me to complain.
:-) I'm serious. Those were the worst two weeks of my
life, I know what you're going through.ErinBrett and
