I feel your pain! I had to pretty much lay on my couch
for about a monthbecause my stomach muscles separated
and i couldn't take the weight of thebabies. It was
awful but i tell you, i was so thankful that i made it
tomy 38 1/2 week c section because my babies were born
healthy and were ableto grow so much in those last few
weeks. Keep your focus on your babiesand what they
need...that is what got me through. They need you to
bestrong for them. When you have them you will be so
thankful you made itthat far..trust me, i was at the
end of my rope those last few weeks! Youcan do it!

Hold on as long as you can. I had my girls at 36
weeks. Baby B was so small and the discordance between
my two babies was getting too large, so they delivered
me early via c-section at 36 weeks. Baby B was born at
only 3 lbs. 11oz. She spent 11 days in the NICU while
my Baby A was in the well baby nursery and came home
with us. It was very difficult to not have them
together and running back and forth between the
hospital and home. I would say do anything you can to
give them the best chance at a larger birth weight.
You have come so far and done so amazingly already,
just hang on a little bit longer....good luck! Jessica

Also, forgot to mention that Baby B had all kinds of
feeding issues, terrible reflux that went undiagnosed
for 6 months. Also, becuase of prematurity, neither
ever never latched well so I ended up pumping
exclisively. They didn't sleep through the night until
7 monhts. I truly believe if they had a few more weeks
to "cook" it might have been a different story. So,
try to hang in there best you can for a little while
 longer.
