 Hi there!My twins are 15 months old, and the boy
 behaved similarly to what you describe when he was
 about 13 mo. Sitting him on the chair was and still is
 like you describe. I often give him a cheerios right
 before, which for some reason calms him down enough for
 me to strap him on. To feed him, what I did was give
 him some sort of object he was not used to (a wooden
 spoon, a plastic spatula, you name it) to get him
 entertained while in the high chair, and I fed him
 myself. In the same meal, I went through two or three
 different objects, since he would get bored of it after
 a little while. That worked pretty well for us, I just
 had to keep creative in coming up with new objects. The
 whole thing got better after about three weeks - now it
 is the girl who would not eat unless I give her cheese.
