1. Stem Blood/Cell Storage?

Hello,My name is Bayinaah (expecting within 4-5 weeks)
We would like to store our babies' stem blood/cells.
We're having identical twin boys and so we're planning
to store/pay for only one storage. Does anyone out
there have experience/recommendations they'd be willing
to share with us? We're considering either ViaCord or
CBR--for no other reason than these two companies are
the ones we've heard of (CBR appears to be a bit less
expensive). Please let me know your thoughts
especially if you've chosen to store/already
stored/feel strongly about NOT storing. Thank you. My

Jessica, my fraternal girls were induced 1 day shy of
37 weeks because of discordance (no c-section). One was
born at 4 lbs, the other at 7 lbs. Neither spent any
time in the NICU or have had any complications since.
They are now healthy 15-month-olds, but still about 2
lbs and 2 inches apart. Hang in there and congrats!

My healthy 12 year olds were 4,8 and 7,12 at birth. In
our case, my son was bigger (dad is 6'4"). They
started 2" apart, the gap grew to 6-8" and now is 3".
My daughter is now in the 75th percentile for both
height and weight. She started off in the 10th or
25th!Good luck to you! It should turn out ok.Lara

My girls were very different in size throughout
pregnancy. I was induced at 35 weeks because the little
one hadn't grown in a few weeks. At birth one was 4lbs
and the other over 5. At 9 months now they are exactly
the same in height and weight. If the doctor says not
to worry I would follow his advice :) Babies come in
all different sizes and grow at different rates. Best
of luck!

My di-di boys were also very different sizes throughout
the pregnancy. Twin A was always around 60% and twin B
hovered around 25%. I had a scheduled C-section at 36
weeks 1 day because twin B (the smaller one) appeared
to have slowed growth. I can't remember the doctor's
weight estimate right before they were born, but I do
remember it wasn't correct! They were born at 5.9 and
4.1 completely healthy. They're now 10 months old and
have grown pretty much close to the same rate. My
bigger boy is between 75% - 90% in height and weight
and the smaller one is between 25% - 50%. They're
about 1-1/2 inches different and about 2 pounds. As
well, my bigger twin is built like a tank! He just
feels super heavy and solid and the smaller twin is
super light. I worry also that the smaller one may
always be small. He's tall but super skinny (sort of
like his dad), but what's most important is that
they're both thriving and 100% healthy. You're really
far along in your pregnancy and your twins seem to be
doing great! Don't worry too much. As long as they're
healthy, nothing else really matters! Good luck to
you.

Hello. Thank you, Adrienne for putting out this call.
Lots of us seem interested, which is great. My partner
and I are expecting identical twin boys within the next
4-5 weeks. Love the idea of having some like-situated
folks to walk/talk with. Not sure, though, how to
proceed. Here is my e-mail address below. I am not
working outside the home and so I can make myself
available for walks/coffee shop chats--very flexible.
We live in Bernal--near St Mary's and Holly St park.
Thanks, again for getting this post started. (email:
