You should pay $585 for 2 day park hopper tickets for 2
adults + 2 children if you buy them in advance (that's
$195 adult / $183 child (ages 3-9)). If you buy at the
entrance the price will go up by $5 per ticket. That
$900 price must include some package deal.I highly
recommend The Unofficial Guide to Disneyland. It's a
really great annual guide to the park. They also post
updates to their website so you can be sure to have the
 latest info.http://touringplans.com/unofficial-guideThe
book recommends the website mousesavers.com for deals
 on tickets and hotels.http://www.mousesavers.com/I
ended up just buying 2 Day park hopper cards at Safeway
 before we drove down.

Thanks for the great tip! The $900+ price is only for
tickets. I couldn't believe it! Will look at the info
 you recommend. Really appreciate
 it!Susan_________________ From: Elizabeth Murray To:

I second the recommendation to sign up for the email
newsletter from MouseSavers.com. They only put one
message out per month, and you have just enough time to
get on the list, as the message comes out on the 15th
of the month. In it, they will provide a special
discount code you can use to purchase tickets. We used
them to buy our extended family's tickets to
DisneyWorld a couple of years ago. They also provide
hands-on info on the best places to stay. Make sure
you also download the Disney Waiting line app before
you go as they will give you an idea on how long a wait
is. If you're going to do Peter Pan, do it early as
that line (it does not have a Fast Pass option) is
always long, even towards closing time, as adults and
children like to ride that one!If your kids like taking
pictures with the characters, then I also recommend
doing a Character meal (we did breakfast at Goofy's
Kitchen). The characters roam around the dining room
constantly and you can take as long as you'd like with
the characters, without having to wait in any
 lines.Have fun!

The best part of the Unofficial Guide book is the
suggested "touring plans" so that you don't waste tons
of time waiting in line- they've made a science of
studying the ebb and flow of line wait times (aka
'queue theory') and recommend the order you should ride
each ride so that you can make the most of your day.
 Nerdy and fascinating.Check out
http://touringplans.com/ where you can customize your
plan. They also have an app where you can see up to the
minute waiting times for the different
 rides.http://www.ridemax.com/ is another very popular
app.Ditto on the character dining- it is great. You can
make reservations (which are not really reservations,
but passes that put you ahead of all the walk ins). The
characters come to your table. We ate at Plaza Inn the
first morning and it was OK but crowded and seemed a
little run down. The second morning we decided to give
it another try and went for Storytellers Cafe at the
Californian Hotel. It was much better- much nicer
dining room and a cozy lodge type atmosphere.

6. Fighting sleep
--------------------------------------------------------
karu_garg - 7/13/2012 7:58 am

Hi all, our 51/2 month old twins have very recently
started fighting sleep. They will be tired, with
droopy eyes, yawning etc and just when they are about
to nod off, they make themselves wake up almost like
they would miss something if they slept off. This
drama happens at bedtime and nap times and ends with a
lot of crying and holding. Results in everyone being
tired and cranky. Anyone face something like this? Any
tips on how to handle this? Thanks in advance for your
 input!

Some nannies use their own cars; others use the
employer's car. If they use their car, then they get
mileage covered. I have not heard of also getting
maintenance but that would be a nice thing to offer if
your nanny drives a lot -- maybe cover her oil change
or some other things that need to be done. Also, a car
wash is a nice surprise every once in awhile. You can
use cherry.com to have someone come to your house. You
need to provide the car seats -- or just the bases and
have a spot where you keep the seats so everyone can
use them when needed. The key is insurance. If the
nanny uses her own car, I highly recommend that you
have a way to ensure that she is fully insured, always.
If she uses your car, you can get a nanny on your
policy.Hope this helpsPS there a lot of wonderful
Spanish speaking nannies in your area so you'll have no
 problem finding someone wonderful
