 (Tuesday and Wednesday after Labor Day)Our nanny will
 be unavailable, and we have been able to work out a way
 to cover all the days she's gone except for these two.
 Any chance anyone will be away for a long Labor Day
 weekend and has a nanny looking for a few extra days of
 work? My boy/girl twins are nearly three and we live in
 Potrero Hill.

 Though Rosetta has asked for a private response I am
 reponding to the whole group in hopes that broader
 knowledge about surrogacy pitfalls will benefit the
 whole group.My advice isnto start with the right lawyer
 before searching out a surrogate. Working with a
 family law attorney that had extensive experience in
 surrogacy cases is crucial, as there ia a network that
 you need to access to be in the know and protected.The
 Wall Street Journal reported several months ago about
 Surrogenesis Inc. out of Modesto California. Google
 that company ornits founder Tonya Collins to read
 scamming in the surrogacy industry. 70 families lost a
 sum total of over 2 million dollars, almost all of whom
 had surrogates pregnant when then scheme collapsed. A
 friend of mine just pulled out of a match because his
 attorney was able to report that the agency
 representing the surrogate he was to work with was
 involved inquestionable activities. It takes attorneys
 to knwo that kind of info and save one pain and
 heartache and loss of money. The network of attorneys
 can and do share info with each other about whom is
 less than kosher.I would recommend working with Deborah
 Wald in San Francisco. She had been a family law
 attorney for a long time with lots of experience in
 this arena. She will also connect you with attorneys
 in other cities that are knowledgeable.Finally,
 Rosetta, you might want to see if anyone in this grouo
 has experience with Surrogacy in India, as that is now
 a common route and your friends are in Hong
