Featured Event: Volunteer Weekend at the Oak Woodlands, August 3-5

Join V-O-Cal, San Francisco Recreation and Parks' Natural Areas Program, REI, and
Friends of the Oak Woodlands for a special weekend in August. Build brand new trails
through the Oak Woodlands in Golden Gate Park. The new trails will help reactivate
the Oak Woodlands, making them safer and more inviting for park users.

MEALS + MUSIC + HORSESHOES + CAMPING + VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Join us for one day or the whole weekend: Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.;

Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Camping (optional) on Friday and/or Saturday nights.

Golf Instruction Available at TPC Harding Park

Chris Christensen is a full-time PGA golf instructor providing instruction for all
levels of players and all aspects of the game.  One-hour private lessons, packages
of 3 and 6 hours, small group and on-course playing lessons are available. All full-swing
instruction includes video and an email of your lesson. Chris has several years 
of teaching experience with the Nicklaus/Flick, ESPN, and Golf Digest golf schools.
 Beginners to advanced players will benefit.  Call TPC Harding Park for prices and

Community Meeting on a New Park Project at 17th and Folsom on July 26

Please join us for a community planning meeting for the 17th and Folsom Park Project.
