Hi,We're SF boomerangs (we lived in SF from 2007-2010)
but moved to LA and expanded our family with boy/girl
twins! We are moving back to SF in September/October
(we're still looking for a place) and we're looking for
a FT nanny or a daycare option for our 7 month old
twins. Any recs would be greatly
 appreciated.Thanks,Moneeka

next issue of Multiplicity. To ensure your announcement
is included in the next issue please send an email by
the afternoon of August 1 to newarrivals at sfpom.org, and
include the following information. You can also feel
free to send your announcement after the above date,
and we can include it in a later issue of Multiplicity.
You can either make a list of the items below, or you
can write your own short paragraph (50 words or less)
including the following info:1: Your and your partner's
 names

 date
4: Heights/weights/other vital stats

3. NTR: Family event dance show tomorrow
--------------------------------------------------------
petermolly - 7/27/2012 1:43 pm

Hi all,Just a plug for a Chinese Dance show tomorrow at
5pm. My friend's late mom started this company as a
hobby 20 years ago. This is their first showcase. My
friend's 6 year old daughter will be in 3 of the
dances. To learn more about the
 company:www.flyingangelschinesedance.com To get
 tickets:
 http://www.cityboxoffice.com/eventperformances.asp?evt=1752&c=3 if
you are delayed on the SFO side, then you
could wear the babies to let them nap. Mine always
napped better in carriers than in the car seat. If you
can have car seats provided for you in Chicago, I would
100% go this way. My husband and I did this at around
that age and were very happy with the results. We
later traveled to Europe and were very annoyed having
more stuff to schlepp around. Hope that helps!

We go to Dr. Bethany Hodges at UCSF Primary Care in
 Laurel Heights. She's wonderful. I think it's a newer
practice. We've never had to wait and there's (paid)
parking in the building. (Same building as Day One)

I haven't had exactly that situation, but we have had
some similar disruptions to our kid's sleep. Our boys
are just over 3 and I think we've had to do various
forms of sleep training maybe 4 - 5 times? And very
light versions following illness too (when they don't
sleep at all then get used to getting some attention at
night). What worked for us was just going through the
sleep training again, in whatever adapted form we
thought would work. Sometimes it takes a while for them
to remember how to drift off and stay asleep (/put
themselves back to sleep if they wake up). It might be
the least stressful just to plan on having to re-teach
that skill again, unless you want to never have
visitors/go anywhere (which we definitely do a lot of
 too!). Good luck!kristen
