 I was wondering if anyone could educate me on the
 protocol for providing paid sick days for a nanny. Do
 you give them? If so, how many? Also, if I go on
 vacation & give the nanny sufficient advanced notice
 (at least a month), is it commonplace to pay her for
 the days you ask her not to come? I am totally new to
 the nanny world & I want to be fair, but I also don't
 want to be unreasonably over-accommodating. For the
 record, the nanny we hired about 2 months ago just
 recently told me that she is used to 9 paid sick
 days/year,
