The joke that is SFUSD continues. We go two different
schools even though we check the box saying we wanted
twins placed together and listed the applications the
same.We got Flynn that was not even on our list and
Aragonne which was the 6th on our list.1 is on 18th
avenue in the Richmond and the other is on Folsom and
 Ceasar Chavez.

We got none of the 10 schools listed! When I turned in
my application, I asked for an additional form to list
more schools and was told that it was not necessary.
"10 schools is enough." Good luck in round 2!

We got a letter just for one of the twins and they are
sending him other end of the town (not in our list at
all). Not happy!!! I don't know where they are sending
my other son, hopefully will find out on Monday.

I posted last time we went to the pediatrician about
speech delay (3 months ago) and got some good feedback.
We just went to see our pediatrician again and now at
26 months, she seems to feel they are both
significantly behind and need help : ( (Just the
talking part, not the receptive part). She gave me
 three recommendations: Jan KatzPatti Taboniand
TherapistaI have also read that several people have
used Speech Inc. Any further info on any of these? I
was also wondering how long on average kids go for.
 Thank you! PatriciaSam and Ben

Hi Pat,I have read a lot of reviews before choosing
speech therapist for my 29 m/o son and Spencer and Kong
had consistently great reviews from the parents. We
started with them about a month ago and feel that we
ate making progress. Our son also has no problem with
comprehension, but is very hard to understand because
of annunciation problems. To our great surprise and
delight the cost is covered by Blue Cross insurance we
 have.http://m.spencerkong.com/Home.htmlGood luck!

My older singleton worked with Patty Toboni until he
turned three. She's WONDERFUL. Super smart and really
sees the big picture. She incorporates a lot of OT into
her speech therapy and keeps up with tons of other
therapists and programs. She was a huge source of help
and support when we realized our oldest was falling
behind. Please let me know if you have any other
 questions!ElizabethEdmund 6/4/08Daniel & Garrett

If you don't mind my asking which blue shield do you
have? Our insurance doesn't cover squat as far as
speech and ot so wouldn't mind switching. From:
