Sorry, I'm no help; we bought The First Years True Fit Convertible car seats to start with. We don't drive a whole lot, and I didn't see the point in having to get a larger car seat every 6 months as the girls grew. We have the car seats side by side in the middle seat of our minivan. These car seats are pretty huge, and would be a pain to move into different cars frequently. We only have one vehicle. So far, the convertible car seats work well for us.
