A friend of mine will be visiting SF in June and is
looking for a one week soccer camp for her 8 year old.
Does anyone have any recommendations or information on
 local soccer camps for kids?Joanie

Hi Jessica,Yes. My partner and I are interested in
attending a more private class with Carole. Like you,
we attended Carole's "Expecting Twins" (CPMC) class and
felt we learned much about breastfeeding from it.
Also, and like you, we attended a breastfeeding
multiples class (at CPMC) and found Carole's
information most beneficial to our needs. Here's my
e-mail address. Please contact me to discuss details.

hi Jessica,I went to Wednesday's UCSF breastfeeding
class and was completely underwhelmed by the session.
My husband and I would be very interested in a private
class with someone who can speak specifically to
breastfeeding twins. My email address is

Hmmmm, I wonder if the whole class felt the same
way?!we are super interested in a class with Carole!
Thank you!we were thinking she would be a great
resource because she breastfeed twins herself and is so
involved w/the multiples community. (We also took the
Expecting Twins class w/her.)-tobeetobee at vanderwall.com

Awesome! Carole is interested and available as well.
I'll give this another day or so to see if it garners
any more interest, and then I'll let Carole know we're
on, and with how many. In terms of scheduling, she
said she's very flexible-- available nights and
weekends. Hopefully we can find a time that works for
 everybody!

It's gut wrenching, and my heart goes out to you. We
were told one of our girls had a bright spot. It was a
terrible time for us. Fetal echo is a non-invasive
diagnostic test, and can likely provide additional
information about the bright spot. Anita Moon-Grady MD
at UCSF is expert. I had one with her and recommend
her. My advice regarding anmio is the following: if
you are confident that under any and all conditions you
would absolutely not terminate the pregnancy or reduce
a fetus…then do not get the amnio (and avoid the
risks associated with it). I had long ago decided that
I would terminate/reduce under certain conditions, so
when we received the bright spot diagnosis, I booked
the appointment for the amnio. It was a hideous
experience (which I understand is rare and not the
norm), and I am still frankly shocked and eternally
grateful that I didn't miscarry one or both of our now
thriving twin daughters. Sending loving thoughts your
way. The amnio results are conclusive, which, in our
case, did eventually provide relief and ease of mind
for the duration of the pregnancy (after I recovered).
Hope you can come to a peaceful decision.
