Subject: [BayCon-Announcements] Traffic issues for BayCon weekend

Ahoy everyone,

With less than two weeks to go until BayCon, I wanted to let you all know
that traffic could be exceptionally bad over Memorial Day this year. There
are going to be some major bridge closures, both the Bay (I-80) and
Dumbarton (Hwy 84). One of the detours for these is 92, the San Mateo
Bridge, has been having major work done to the interchange with 880, this
could make 237 the main alternate route. In addition to these closures
they're expecting higher congestion than normal on the Golden Gate due to
the 75th Anniversary Festival.

With all this in mind you may want to make a reservation and stay at the
Hyatt instead of commuting this year, if you haven't already made that
decision. This will also give you the added benefit of not having to cut
your fun short by making extra time to drive back and forth. It's easy to

In other news our Programming and Web departments are working hard, right
now, to have the Program Schedule up on www.baycon.org early this week. So
