Dear Robin,
Thank you for your interest in our research! We are currently conducting a
study that investigates how 12- to 13-month-old infants respond to
attentional cues and play with novel objects.
For this study, your child will participate in multiple activities
exploring infant social and cognitive development. During each of these
activities, a researcher will either direct their -attention toward an
object or demonstrate how an object works. Your child will then have the
opportunity to respond to the researcher and the object. The entire visit
will last 60-90 minutes and you will be with your child the entire time.
All procedures will be videotaped.
If you have any questions about what is described here, please contact us
by email or call 510-643-0614, and we can answer all of your questions.
Thank you again for your interest, and we look forward to speaking with you
soon!
Sincerely,
Amanda
