2. When can my 14 week olds go into a stroller without carseat

Hello everyone! I have a stroller question. I have a
city mini and a graco dual glider and was hoping
someone could tell me when I can put my 14 week old
twins in the stroller without the car seats. Both
strollers recline and I have snugly headrest to put in
them for extra head support. The snap and go is getting
heavy and hard to turn. Thanks!

I have a city select and I have been using it with the
seats reclined and an infant body positioner since they
were ~12 weeks old. It is SO MUCH BETTER than the snap
n go. You might want to consider getting a full body
positioner but you'll see how it looks when you get
 them in there.

5. wake-up and goodbye rituals?
--------------------------------------------------------
nodelmonkey - 11/6/2012 4:22 pm

Dear precious caregivers of multiples babes - I have
two q's for you and hoping you can shed some advise on
one or both current struggles at our home. (we have 17
mo old twin girls)1) wake-up ritual. Whether it's
first thing in the morning or waking up from their nap,
we potentially have conditioned our girls to cry when
they wake up and that's how their night or nap ends.
If they awake before a certain time or amount of time,
they have learned (or are re-learning) to go back to
sleep or at least scream intermittently until a certain
prescribed time comes but once that time comes, we come
in to "rescue" them from their cribs and then they are
up. Most recently, after transitioning from two naps
to one, they are often not happy after their nap and
have a tough time transitioning back to play/awake time
without lots of fussiness. For the nap in particular,
they may need more sleep which is potentially another
issue. For the morning ritual, I have friends whose
babe has learned to entertain himself in the crib when
he wakes up until a certain time and then mom or dad
comes in and gives him a book and he continues to
entertain himself for another 30 minutes until they get
him out. I clearly need to get tips from my friends
but curious with two or more babes, if any of you have
had such luck (or should I say have any of you trained
your little ones this well)? Can I do this and
 how????2) goodbye ritual. Don't sure if it's
developmental or what has happened, but I'm having a
harder and harder time saying bye when my nanny comes
in the mornings on my days "off" or papa relieves me in
the afternoon/evenings on my days "on". I am fully
aware that part of the problem is that I'm not always
saying a short and sweet bye and then leaving. I end
up needing to still do things around the house to get
ready to leave after I'm relieved of parental duties
and this only makes it harder for my girls - they still
see me but know I'm on my way out. No matter how much
I try to "prep" for my departure the night before there
are things I need to do the morning/evening of. Any
advise on things you do to make your goodbye short and
sweet? Maybe there's some "ritual" I need to start
 with my goodbyes?
