[Please pardon the cross-post... I just wanted to be
sure this message reached the maximum number of
viewers!!]The Club has a number of important volunteer
positions open, that we really need to fill:* Expert
Speaker Series Coordinator (organize 4-8 talks/year)*
Content Manager (will replace the tasks formerly
handled by Newsletter Editor)* Philanthropy Chair (some
ongoing activity, + coordinating various holiday
drives)* Family Outings Coordinator (organize 3
events/yr)* Toddler Support Group Coordinator (revive
this group, which used to meet quarterly - there's a
model in place already, which just needs oversight.)*
Spring Consignment Sale TeamThese are all important
positions within the leadership of the Club, and
entitle you to participate in meetings on the running
of POM, and its programs and activities. Please let me
know if you'd like more details on any of the above.
Remember, the more volunteer support the Club has, the
stronger and more robust is will be!! Thanks for
considering!! : )Natasha President, SFPOM

the double snap 'n go with carseats is really useful in
the airport in case there are flight delays. we gate
checked all three. using these bags for the carseats:
http://www.amazon.com/Childress-Gate-Check-Bag-Seats/dp/B000RRD7UG;
and this bag for the double stroller:
http://www.amazon.com/J-L-Childress-Standard-Double-Strollers/dp/B003554H9M/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_tmy
husband and i each wore a girl on front in ergos, and
they slept most of the flight. the motion and white
noise of the engines, plus being against us seemed to
suit them. definitely hold off on feeding them for take
off and landing (for their ears); resist the urge to
feed them to stop them from crying (e.g., during
security check lines). you really want them to suck
during take off and landing. if they won't feed for
the entire duration of take off and landing, i used my
pinky so i could feel if they were sucking/swallowing.
the urban bundle me's in their carseats with ear flap
hats, and mittens (like these -

were critical for the cold weather. wearing the kids
is the easiest way to get outside, sightsee and keep
the kiddos warm (your body heat). we walked all around
with them on us at your kids' age. it's also helpful
to have carrier covers to wear over your ergo (here's
one example:
