 I would definitely not bring them if you have the
 options of carseats on the other end. To go through
 security, you need to take the babies out of the
 carseats, put the carseats through the x-ray, fold the
 snap and go (and it won't fit through, and you'll have
 to wait for them to deal with it by hand), then you
 have to get the whole thing set up again and the babies
 back in. AND there's always a risk of airlines
 breaking things you gate check. I can't speak for sure
 with United, but I do know some airlines recently made
 a rule that you can't gate check double strollers.With
 the carriers, you can breeze through security wearing
 your babies, you have less stuff to carry through the
 airport, and then you don't have to worry about taking
 the time to get the carseats in the car on the other
 end -- your parents can do it for you and you are ready
 to go.
