1. "Growing Pains" or Misdiagnosis as Growing Pains
--------------------------------------------------------
bravermang - 9/18/2012 10:37 pm

I've read a fair amount about "growing pains" and
suspect that many of us have kids with the typical
symptoms and presentation. I am wondering if there is
anyone in the group who had a child initially
misdiagnosed with growing pains that can shed light on
what alternate diagnosis they received and the course
of specialists and/or diagnostics taken thereafter?
ThanksGedaliaDad to Armstrong and Ella, now almost 4
 years old.

Hello all,I need to buy a sofa for our playroom that
has evolved from a 100% play area to an area where the
kids now play and watch some tv. Where do you shop for
a sofa? I'm not looking for anything fancy or
expensive, but would like a new sofa as opposed to a
used one. I can only think of Macys and Ikea and have
seen ads for Oysterbed, but after that, I'm stumped. I
considered Room and Board, but I don't need anything
that nice/expensive. Please email back directly to me
at kelly94127 at yahoo.com if you have any ideas. I was
in the Serramonte Mall earlier and saw some sofas at
very reasonable prices at a place called "Hot Buy" but
I just don't know... Any tips, advice, recommendations
 on places to look?Thanks,Laura Kelly

We used a new/upcoming photographer in SF just
recently. She has great rates since she's just starting
 off. Her contact information

photos she took for us, I can send a few via email. My

I don't remember our exact configuration, but DO recall
2-3 auxiliary pillows (regular sized, not necessary
throw pillows a few months in) in various places at
various times -- definitely one firm on behind the
back, on the lap under the nursing pillow (tho I think
I had the EZ2 Nurse one... the big rectangular one) as
well several rolled up nursing blankets w/ rubber bands
around them. I remember using the rolls right behind
their backs to keep them from rolling off. It was
rather a production, but totally worked. And YES!
They go through all sorts of growth spurts and will get
faster, and it will get easier!
