There's a long post on getting babies ears pierced on
GGMG I saw a week or so ago. There may be info there
for you that might be helpful.

We just got one. We also have a city mini double, which
is great for long walks but drives me crazy whenever we
go into a store because its so wide. The Kinderhop is
neat, very small footprint for a double. It has only
one visor but it's huge and covers the front kid as
well. The basket is smallish so yes, storage space is
minimal. It comes with a rain cover and cup holder - so
you don't have to spend extra on accessories. My twins
are really tiny (16lb at 1 year) and so should fit it
until they're done with strollers, but if you have
really big kids I'm not sure they'd be as comfortable.
Overall, I like it so far and feels like the best
 umbrella option for our needs.

Also a Chico keyfit 30 user here. I equipped myself
with both the double snap n go and the regular snap n
go before my girls were born. Nine times out of ten I
use the single snap n go with one baby in a ring sling.
It's a lot easier to maneuver than the huge double snap
n go and I can breastfeed the baby in the sling while I
walk. I plan on getting a nice, somewhat maneuverabld
double stroller to use without the car seats when we're
ready for the next stage. I'm considering the schwinn
double stroller which is supposed to be nearly as easy
to steer as the bob for about half the price.

Look into Peekadoodle prep or their drop off or parent
participation classes? My kids enjoyed prep (after a
 bit of adjustment) from 18m.
