1. Looking for a part time nanny

I'm looking for a part time nanny for my twin girls (21
months). I need someone from 2pm-7pm M-F and then
starting in July I need that person to be able to come
from 8-6 one day (preferably Wed but I can be
flexible). Does anyone have a nanny in the morning that
is looking for more hours in the afternoon? Thanks for
 any leads!

2. San Francisco Waldorf Preschool Expanding

Just got an email that the SF Waldorf School on
Divisadero and Washington is expanding its preschool to
offer more available spaces for 3 and 4 year olds. The
3 year olds go Thursday and Friday and the 4 year olds
go Monday through Wednesday. It's a great opportunity
and we had a very good experience. The contact is Lori
Grey. The lead teacher, Heidi, raised twin boys who are
now in college. The school is very open to accepting
 families with twins.

Ugh....I'd say doula unless you find a mother's helper
or sitter that has a lot of experience with newborns,
someone you can relax and know babies are well cared so
 you can heal

So sorry to hear you're going through this - but
congrats on big, healthy babies ~ welcome, Alexandra
and Thomas! And, I hope you heal quickly, Mama!I'd
think a short-term, experienced nanny ought to be a
huge help! Not as pricey as a doula, but would need
less guidance than a mother's helper. And, since it's
short term -- maybe there's someone out there between
gigs, or whose "family" is away or something. Finding
them takes some energy, but much can be done with a
good ad and phone interviews... or contact a placement
agency, maybe? (I don't know if there'd be a huge fee
for that, tho...) Good nannies are absolutely amazing
 resources.2 agenices I know of: http://www.tandcr.com/
(My work contracts with them for back-up childcare,
and everyone they've sent has been great.)

Alyce wrote a terrifically helpful book on finding a
nanny, and has done talks for our Club. She might have
good advice/leads, anyway.BEST of luck to you!

Sounds like soon would be a good time for you to
receive a healthy meal delivered by an SFPOM volunteer!
Congrats on your babies! Getting a meal delivered
means there's just one less thing for you to worry
about. Email meals at sfpom.org to get the ball rolling so
I can set you up with a volunteer.ErinBrett and Maggie
