Don’t miss the Big Latch On this Friday and Saturday


When: 
Friday and Saturday, August 2 & 3 at 10am (the Big latch on begins promptly at 10:30). Check for the location near you for the day and details.

What: 
If you are breastfeeding consider participating in The Big latch on when nursing moms and babies around the world latch on at a specified time for one minute to support breastfeeding worldwide (and maybe even break the record!). In 2012, celebrants from more than 170 countries participated.  

Why: 
The Big Latch On is an international breastfeeding event held during World Breastfeeding Week where moms around the globe come together to feed their children, enjoy camaraderie, and raise breastfeeding awareness - not only as a public health issue but as a food security issue.

How: 
On the day of the event, we suggest you aim to arrive by 10am. Allowing enough time to get parked, registered and settled. The Big Latch On will last for one minute - 10:30-10:31 - every child latched during that minute goes to the total count.
