The SF Zoo is doing Zoo Lights again this year.

Zoo Lights Preview

December 6, 7, 13, 14 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

As a warm up for the full-on fun of Zoo Lights, we're extending Zoo 
hours for these special weekend nights in December. Come enjoy the San 
Francisco Zoo at night under magical holiday lights. Shop at our 
all-new Holiday Marketplace, see the reindeer romp, enjoy hot apple 
cider and cocoa at Cafe Playfield, and hum along to seasonal music as 
you play in the newly renovated Elinor Friend Playground.

Zoo Lights

Nightly, December 20 to 30 (dark on Dec. 24 and 25)4:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

'Tis the season to enjoy the San Francisco Zoo at night under magical 
holiday lights. Come take a moonlight meander through the Zoo as it 
sparkles with cheer: Make your way from Entry Village Plaza to the 
newly renovated Elinor Friend Playground for some magical playtime 
under the stars. Through December 23, shop at the Holiday Marketplace 
to find one-of-a-kind gifts for loved ones. Then head over to the tent 
to sit with Santa Claus and sip hot apple cider and cocoa. Don't 
forget to pay a visit to his special reindeer Belle, Holly, Peppermint 
and Velvet. Feel like dancing? On Saturday nights in December, we'll 
feature Noc'tails Silent Disco ($5). You can also watch live 
entertainment, play Holiday Midway Games to win prizes, ride the 
historic Dentzel Carousel, and enjoy the holiday cheer as you stroll 
through select areas of the Zoo during this wonderful event. See you
