We've been bathing them in the big tub together since
they were about 10 months old (before that, we bathed
in the sink until they outgrew it, and then showered
them separately with an adult). We make sure that 2
adults are around to handle the getting out and drying
 part of the process though.

Thanks Natasha! I tried to join the group but it says
not accepting new members. Could you check the
settings ? I am not sure what being the admin entails
but if it is minimal effort, I dont mind being set up
as admin, since I started the thread.

Hi Bridget,I'm a single dad with twins and apologize
for not responding to your post before. My kids are
now 4 years 3 months old, so I am dealing with a very
different set of issues than moms of newborns and
toddlers. That's why you don't see many posts from
parents of older twins. It's busy in a much more
run-around kind of way. Anyway, there were at least 4
other families with single parents when my kids were
born. I did connect with a few and that was helpful.
That said, I have to comment that I hung out with moms
of twins that were coupled more often than not; because
their partners (be they men or women) were usually
working full-time and the larger part of the work of
handling the babies fell upon one person. Eventually
almost everyone transitioned into either daycare and/or
part-time nannies as returning to work became
necessary. I think there are few things that are very
different for single parents with twins:1) Co-sleeping
is not necessarily an option2) Sometimes the parent
tends more towards creating self-soothers and
independent toddlers.3) There is no back-up in the
middle of the night when one or both babies are sick.
This is more of an issue when they are toddlers. 4)
There's really no time for the parent to get sick; you
just push through. I'd be happy to answer questions
based on my personal experience, but I should disclose
that I've taken "the village" approach to raising my
kids and they have multiple people involved in their
daily/weekly life. I chose this path in order to
create a safety net for the kids in the event that
something were to happen to me. Congrats and best of
luck.CheersGedaliaDad to Armstrong and Ella--- On Wed,

This happened to one of our twins around the same time.
As long as they are eating well and sleeping they
should be just fine. Our ped just said to keep
breastfeeding and that should help with anything they
 may be coming down with.
