My boys (also mono/di) are younger, so not sure I have
much advice, except to say that we have a similar issue
though neither boy had surgery. They were nearly
identical weights at birth (2 oz delta) but that
quickly grew to 1lb+ by 6 months. Seems they are
evening out again (14 months) but one is generally
skinnier than the other. I (and their pediatrician)
attribute it to the skinnier one's absolutely crazy
energy - he is *always* on the move and, I reason, is
therefore burning more calories. I thought he was
eating less but an audit by the nanny confirms that
this is not the case - though his food consumption is
more variable day-to-day than his brother. I'm a big
fan of "trust your instinct" so it seems worth looking
into in your case, but I wonder if some of it could
 just be different personalities/play patterns?

Sounds like you are doing great!!I just looked up our
7-week schedule, and my big "goal" was joint nap times,
so apparently I felt your pain. I started putting one
in the Moby wrap or Beco carrier as soon as the other
went to sleep - that did the trick for us as neither
one could stay awake for long in the Moby or front
carrier. For what it's worth, schedule looked like this
(all times earliest start / latest end - I think that's
all you can hope for at that age ;) ):7-8am: 90-150ml
formula (I could not breast feed for medical
reasons)8-10am: play one hour, nap one hour (which hour
 moved a bit)10-11am: 90-150ml formula11am-1pm: walk
 outside and one hour nap1-2pm: 90-150ml formula3-4pm:
1-2 hour nap, could be in stroller again if I was stir
crazy4-5pm: 90-150ml formulaplay, play, play (trying to
 keep awake)7-8pm: 80-150ml formula, then to bed11pm:
small feed3am: small feed (pray for sleep until
7am)Note that by 3 months we moved to feeding start
times to every FOUR hours (yes, controversial) with the
advice of many on this forum. I used the Baby Sleep
Solution book, modified to make me feel good, and it
was amazing. We have the same feeding schedule at 14
months, minus the formula and plus a lot of food!Sarah

Thank you ladies for the advice. I am giving up on the
hook-on chairs and selecting regular high chairs. Our
solution is to either push the table forward against
the wall and put them side by side or maybe remove the
table completely until we can use boosters. Either way,
it will be better then using my great-grandmother's
dinning room table. The boys will destroy that! :)
