 RSVP---------------------- What: Mom's Night Out
(MNO) Who: San Francisco Parents of Multiples
When: Thu Jun 20, 2013, 7-9 pm PDT Where: InnerFog
545 Irving Street (bet. 6th we were given some jarred
pureed baby food and we tried a jar, and they didn't
like it at all (I think it was the texture). They would
only eat applesauce because they liked the cinnamon and
the adults were eating applesauce, too.We did spoon
feed them things in sauce for some time (BLW advocates
letting baby self-feed only) but we paid careful
attention to their cues that they were finished eating
(the "finished" sign was one of their first baby signs)
and never made them eat anything they didn't want to
eat. And now, at 20 months, they self-feed exclusively,
mostly with utensils, and there is very little they
won't eat, only things they won't eat today (that they
will eat tomorrow). I consider that a success. As for
tips, give them little bits of everything you eat in
very small portions, because much of it will end up on
the floor, or they will get full and not finish the
food. If they want more food, you can give them more
food. If they don't like a food today, offer it again
tomorrow, or in a few days. If you want them to eat
broccoli, you eat broccoli, too! Your baby is more
likely to eat foods if they see you eating those foods.
(Alas, this seems to go double for junk-type foods, so
don't eat junk food around your baby if you don't want
 them to eat it.)

We loved the Baby Bjorn travel cribs. They are much
lighter and much more compact than Pack n' Plays. They
 are smaller, however

Hi Annette, I brought my twins to Noah Simons at his
new practice & I switched to a new pediatrician by the
time they were 4 months old. The issues were 1) his
office has no parking & I spent more time driving
around finding parking than I actually spent in his
office. 2) His visits always felt super rushed,
sometimes only 15 minutes long and he would forget
about us in the room. He's nice but I felt like I was a
number. I believe he schedules appointments every 15
mins. 3) To get into his office you have to go up a
small set of stairs and down an elevator. So I always
had to have someone with me to help with cart both
twins in their stroller into his office. He told us
they were going to remodel the office eventually but I
decided just to switch instead. Now I go to Heidi Moore
who is great-office parking, never rushed,
