GrouponsHi, we mistakenly bought 2 extra Groupons for
an annual pass to theExploratorium in SF and can't use
them. There are a number of caveats withthese
Groupons, but we thought we'd check and see if anyone
could use one ortwo. It's a great deal and the place
is even better than it was in the lastlocation. Here
is the deal:-You can't use these for children under
18.-Limit 1 per household (though we used both of ours
for the same household.)-You have to activate it (go
there and sign up using the Groupon) by 6/30/13We paid
$30 for each and would appreciate $30 for each. The
deal is 1/2 offthe regular price ($60). We can
probably email you the groupon or give youa paper copy.

Hello everyone,My girls no longer play with their

3. Rugged stroller with double carseat/bassinet option?
--------------------------------------------------------
lilyb49 - 6/23/2013 2:43 pm

I'm looking to buy a rugged stroller that can handle
desert sand and rough roads to leave at my family's
house in Arizona. Would like to get one that can
handle two car seats or has a double bassinet option.
Seems that most of them I've read about (Bob, Tike
Tech) can only handle one bassinet or car seat. Does
 anyone have suggestions?

Check out the Bumbleride Indie Twin. I've taken it on
 the beach several times.

You can also apply the value of the Groupon to a
upgraded membership, like the family one. You have to
 redeem by June 30th.

If you happen to be looking in Daly City, I would
recommend: - Dr. Yvonne Ong- Dr. Sandy K. LeeThese two
have good bedside manner and listen well. They're on
time yet nurturing. I live in SF but it's easier and
faster to bring my kids to Daly City. We used to go to
SF KP to see some specialist there and have hated the
 parking. Good luck :)

Hi Sarah,I'm sorry to hear about the puking :( Two out
of three of my kids were pukers, with one doing it on
purpose after awhile (after crying for awhile). I guess
my first question would be, do you think your kids
vomit due to reflux, car sickness/motion sensitivity,
or behaviorally? I've had all three situations and
handling is different depending. Reflux: Meds can
definitely help. If no meds, having them eat food
before milk helps to keep the everything down plus
waiting 30 min upright before moving them into a car.
That means they are dressed w/ a new diaper before the
feed.Motion sensitivity: Have your children's ears
checked out to make sure they don't have an ear
infection. Some present w/o fever. If no infection, you
can do the same recommendation above as reflux. Other
things to try: having a hanging toy that made a lot of
noise or playing Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on your phone
(you can fit it under the headrest and seatback. I also
found giving him something to chew on (i.e. colored
straws or ZoLi sticks) helped. Behavior: Well, the only
thing that worked was to make sure they were not hungry
before going into the car, played Mickey Mouse
Clubhouse on my phone and jammed it into the headrest,
and strategically planned a route that had the LEAST
amount of stoplights. They travelled the best on the
freeway. I would also recommend buying a carseat cover
to spare your carseat and the cover will only need to
be washed. I happen to have found a new one that we
didn't get to use if you'd like to purchase. I have 2
used ones somewhere also. These were a lifesaver
because washing carseats, as you know, are a pain in
the rear. The latter improved at about 18 mo. Hope this
 helps.
