Since I've just spent two and a half hours, that I'd intended to be
productive, managing K and her craziness, after which it seemed to
me necessary to clean the kitchen and tidy baby toys, I'd sure
appreciate not being woken before 10.

You both have been working so hard to keep things going around here,
and I really appreciate it.  I know that I've unfairly dumped
various extra work in your laps from time to time, and I'm sorry for
that.  So I'm sure I'm being selfish, but at 4 am, I find myself
quite jealous of my late night productivity, especially on my nights
off.  Therefore, if you can think of any other ways last night's
situation could have been handled, I'd sure appreciate it.
