If you have b/g twins, how long did they share a room
for, or how long are you going to have them share a
 room?

I'm so glad you asked this question, I've been wanting
to post the same question for some time now! My b/g
twins are 3 and I'm hoping to make it to age 6.
Separating them results in us losing our guest bedroom
that my Mom uses all the time, so I want to push it as
long as possible without making them uncomfortable. I
hope some of the members with older twins can weigh in
on whether or not this is realistic.

Mine are 3 and a half, and they are in a pretty small
room now. We hope to keep them there a few more years,
then maybe have them share our larger room (now a guest
room), and separate them around 7 or 8.

Mine are almost 4 and a half and I am hoping that they
will tell me when they need separate rooms (and that
the decision does not have to come from me) because I
love hearing them talk to each other at bedtime and in
the early morning and dread us all losing the sweetness
of that. It's the only time, other than when they are
sick, that I sneak a listen with the old baby
monitor..... and the conversations are priceless. I
have friends that managed with their b/g twins until
the age of 9 in one room. That would be a lovely goal
 to achieve._________________ From: Erin Loback

Wondering what everyone has done for baby books for
multiples - one for each kid or a joint one?...

I'm doing ours the old fashioned way... (not online -
tho I'll certainly be printing things...) BUT - I
actually have 3 going, theoretically - one for me, and
one for each of my girls, that features their own
unique things, and then a lot of copies. HOWEVER --
right now, it's mostly all still in 3 separate boxes,
where I'm collecting stuff until I have the time to
actually fiddle with and assemble. I figure once
they're old enough to want to work on the books
themselves, they'll absolutely want their own copies,
and you know - for when they move off to college
*sniff* etc.Keeping a journal of some kind is a great
thing to do, tho, if there's any way you can: just a
place to scribble down milestones, or
cute/significant/funny things they do or say. It's
such a cliche, but time really passes by SO quickly,
and if it weren't for things we'd written down in those
sleep-deprived early days, there's a lot of stuff we
would have forgotten. Even if it's just a whiteboard,
 or a notebook
