1. Travel with 18 mos olds

 I can't seem to find any old posts about travel with
 this age group... but we're seeking advice. Flying to
 Alaska to visit family in a few weeks. Doesn't seem to
 be a lot of gear we can borrow on the other side.
 Flight there is 8pm-midnight so hopefully they'll
 sleep. Flight home is a mid day trip so they'll
 probably be active. We bought one extra seat both ways.
 We're curious about carseats vs. those cares harness
 things, and what about those wheels for carseats vs.
 strollers? We are considering buying cheapo umbrella
 strollers at our destination and using our hiking
 carriers for the airport. Any thoughts/advice? We're
 sending two pack n plays ahead of us.

 just lost what i'd typed... but, the gist was stroller
 and carseats through security to be gate checked (so
 they'll get bumped around less than in baggage check).
 and ergos for take off and landing (as well as
 while they were sleeping, so i could doze too knowing
 they were safely strapped to us and not running around
 the cabin). and most of they time they romped in the
 third seat between us, sometimes watching pre-loaded
 shows on the ipad nicely together. other times putting
 the ipad away and pulling out individual ipods for them
 (also preloaded with shows). hope that helps! if you

3. wanting information about Preeclampsia

 I'm 45 and 26.5 weeks pregnant with twin boys--my last
 blood pressure was 139/79--getting it read again this
 Friday. Also did the 24 hour urine collection. 
 Protein was 349---doc wants it under 300. Anyone have
 any info/experience about/with Preclampsia? Thank you
 in advance!!!

 under the care of my midwife (whom i hired
 independently in addition to my OB and hospital
 prenatal care), i took passionflower tincture as was
 directed (15 drops, 3x/day for several weeks) and
 successfully kept my blood pressure down through the
 remainder of my pregnancy and labor/birth at 39 weeks. 
 i was 38 years old at the time. i also drank 3 litres
 of water, and took lemon juice daily. cucumbers were
 useful too. if you'd like the name of my midwife, i'd
 be happy to let you know. best, jen

 Hi Annette, Welcome! My fraternal girls are 22 months
 - Grace and Reverdy ('Revie'). You're welcome to come
 over to our flat for a cup of tea or glass of wine any

 I posted our Chicco Keyfit 30s a few times here and on
 CL and never got any bites. I didn't post pictures but
 posted all the other info and they really were in good
 shape. Oh well. We finally gave up and donated them to
 Out Of The Closet yesterday. Goodwill wouldn't take
 them.

 We bought a couple of used car seats---one ended up
 expiring in December---ended up just donating them. I
 would definitely include when you bought them and just
 how much use you got out of them:)
