 I'm 45 and 26.5 weeks pregnant with twin boys--my last blood
 pressure was 139/79--getting...

 I also had preeclampsia with my twins. I was 37. My
 blood pressure hit 140/100 and my protein after the 24
 hour urine was about 350 at 30 weeks and I was put on
 hospital bed rest. They were able to control my blood
 pressure with increasing amounts of medication and I
 never had HELLP syndrome, so the plan was to induce
 labor at 34 weeks. Unfortunately, my water broke at
 32w5d, so I ended up delivering at 33w1d. The babies
 spent a month in the NICU but are doing really well
 now.Feel free to email me if you have questions about
 hospital bed rest or NICU time, or even if you just
 want some support or to vent. I talked to a lot of
 people about the NICU before my babies were born and it
 helped to know what to expect...

 You may also want to consider donating them. The San
 Francisco Homeless Prenatal Program
 (http://homelessprenatal.org/) is in desperate need of
 infant car seats since they are required to leave the
 hospital. They will accept carseats that are 5 years
 old or less. Donations are accepted on Fridays from 8
 AM -- 5 PM at 2500 18th St. @ Potrero St.
