Hope you can join us this Thursday at the Park Chalet.
Take a well deserved break from your babies - whether
they are yet to be born, infants or teenagers! Enjoy
conversation with other folks who get it, and a drink
and a snack on the club! Please RSVP on the events tab,
our on the Facebook page, or email me directly. Hope to
see you there!Event Details we have her in the AM when
the other family's kids are in school, and then she
goes to the other family in the afternoon. Because of
the school holiday, she says she needs to bring the
other family's 3.5yr old to our house with her today.
I'm a bit perplexed about if this is done normally, and
how she should be paid. It seems unfair for her to get
2x the pay from us and the other family for paying
about 1/2 as much attention to each of our kids. If our
kids were close in age, I might be more comfortable
calling it a "play date," but now I have to worry about
making sure the 3.5 yr old is occupied and safe in our
home while the nanny still manages to keep things under
control for our babies.I also understand the need for
us to be flexible when it comes to a long-term nanny
relationship. You all understand how hard it can be to
find reliable, consistent help, so is this just
something I need to ride out in order to have the
convenience of a capable caregiver? Thanks in advance
for any advice!
