 my twins are 3 weeks old and my husband is going back
 to work next week. We originally had no plans to hire
 any help but now I feel it might be necessary. I wanted
 opinions on night nurse vs day time mothers helper. We
 will only be able to afford about 2 days per week. Also
 if anyone has any recommendations on where to find
 either.Thanks

 I was in your exact same situation last month! For me,
 the sleep deprivation was killing me so I wanted
 nighttime help. I felt that I could handle days on my
 own as long as I had a good night's sleep. Try Bay Area
 Night Doulas - they helped me find someone to help on
 short notice, 2-3 nights a week. It's expensive but SO
 worth it.

 I saw this on FB today. So many of our little ones
 spent time in the Nicu. My kids did not, but through
 this group I have met many, many parents and children
 that spent their first days, weeks, months in the NICU
 and I have been amazed by the stories of wonderful
 nurses, insightful teams and just generally wonderful
 people working to keep our kids strong and healthy. 
 So, for those of you who spent time in the NICU, I
 thought you would appreciate this beautiful open letter

 I'd love to be a mentee! I'm 16wks pregnant with
 triplets. (Mono-di Identical twins and one fraternal) I
 live in Inner Parkside, close to West Portal but am
 very flexible during the days and don't mind traveling
 across town to be mentored. I realize there aren't too
 many triplet mamas out there. I'm sure I can still
 learn a lot from a twin
