That was totally it, thank you! I removed a bunch of white chips; I
assume they're calcium.

Well, I only noticed a couple of weeks ago, when I went to clean the
sink and it moved :). As for that couple of weeks delay, (1) I have
twins, things tend to slip my mind and (2) you've seemed pretty
annoyed about some of our requests in the past, so I tend to kind of
gather them all in a bunch so you don't feel like we're wasting your
time with trivial stuff.
