Yeah, I think more careful management is probably a better idea than
$40/month.

It's certainly possible, but that leaves me without a reasonable
fix.

What I should really find out/test is whether streaming in my room
affects *anybody else*.  If it is *only* screwing me up, then RF
interference between my WAP and the chromecast itself seems pretty
likely.
