Kids On Target at Hoops Shoot Competition at Sunset Rec

Rec and Park, in partnership with the SF Elks Lodge, No.3, hosted its annual Hoop
Shoot Contest at Sunset Rec Center on Saturday, December 13.  More than 70 boys 
and girls, ages 8-13, came out to test their free throw skills against each other.
 The event included lunch and free t-shirts for all participants.

Candlestick Memorabilia on Sale Now at AT&T Park

The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department has teamed with the World Series
Champion San Francisco Giants on From the Clubhouse, the Giants' official source
 for game-used and autographed memorabilia. From the Clubhouse will be selling Candlestick
Park artifacts authenticated by MLB. From the Clubhouse will be selling seatbacks,
section signs and other assorted signage from Candlestick Park.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Candlestick memorabilia will benefit 
San Francisco Recreation and Park's Youth Scholarship Fund, which ensures that everyone
has the opportunity to get out and play.
