1. Night Doula Recommendations

kristincrawf - 2/11/2014 2:37 pm

My husband and I just brought home our twin girls and
are looking for night nurse recommendations. We would
prefer someone who is flexible working part time OR
someone who charges less than the $30-40 an hour
rate...If you have any recommendations, please let me
 know, thank you!

2. Great Nanny Available FT in March

katetorgersen - 2/11/2014 11:00 am

My name is: Kate Torgersen● My phone number is:
 650-906-0710● My email address is:
katetorgersen at gmail.com● My caregiver's name is:
Rasha Ali● My caregiver's contact information is:
alirasha80 at yahoo.com - she is out of the country for
the next 2 weeks visiting her family so email is
best.● She is a nanny ● I employed this caregiver
starting in November 2013 and still use her in evenings
now that I am back to work.● Rasha helped us with our
5 month old b/g twins and our 3 year old son. I found
Rasha through Care.com and hired her to be my extra set
of hands while my husband travels. I was immediately
impressed with Rasha's ability to manage both babies
and help out with my wild 3 year old. Rasha is a mother
of two herself - so in addition to her nannying
background, she also has her own personal firsthand
experience with babies and toddlers. She is calm under
pressure and takes the initiative to get things done
whether its calming a baby, helping prepare dinner or
cleaning around the house. Rasha is a great
communicator - she checks in regularly to ensure that
she is doing things according to your needs and
actively seeks feedback. We love Rasha but cannot
provide her with the full time, long term work that she
is seeking (but, we will be continuing to use her in
the evenings when my husband is out of town and for
date nights as needed). Rasha is looking for a full
time nanny position starting in March.

Thank you everyone for all of your responses! It was so
valuable to have some background going into my
induction last Wednesday. The docs started with a
couple of rounds of a cervical ripening agent, then
used a foley balloon, and lastly broke my water and
adminstered pitocin. Glad it's all behind us now, not
a fun couple of days but of course worth every second.
