Hi all,Our twin girls are almost 3 and we are quickly
outgrowing our 2bd in SOMA. We'd like to move to a city
where we can get plenty of space and that offer
good/great public schools (warmer weather is a plus
too). My husband works in the City (I do occasionally
as well) so commuting ease is an important factor.
We've mostly been looking East Bay because of the
commute options (BART, ferry and bus). We've heard
that Alameda and Orinda/Lafayette generally fit the
bill, but don't know too much about either. Does
anyone out there have any thoughts on either (or
somewhere else that we should consider)? (We've hear
the Lamorinda area has terrific schools but BART
parking fills up very early). Has anyone made the move
and care to share their thoughts. We haven't really
been looking Marin and the Peninsula seems quite
expensive for what you get. Please feel free to

I found a wonderful nanny via Care.com. I was looking
for a college student and was able to limit my
searching by that feature. I also posted an ad
indicating I was looking for a student. I know SF State
has an online job board that is available for posting
too. One of our POM members, Carin Chou has had great
success with this. I'm sure she would be willing to
share her experience with you. Best of luck!
