Hi all, we have 2-yr old twins who are currently with a
nanny who we love but the cost is definitely starting
to wear on us. We just heard we got into a great
preschool near our house starting in September. They'll
be 2 yrs, 8 months. We were thrilled but are now
starting to have second thoughts about if we and they
will be ready to make the transition from a nanny.
It'll save us a bunch of money and is a great
Montessori program. I guess I'm mainly worried about
pickup/dropoff. We did daycare for a bit before we
switched to a nanny and found that completely
overwhelming. Although part of the hassle there was
packing bottles/food and diapers which we won't need to
do for this preschool. It's all included. Would love to
hear from some of you what age you started /plan to
start preschool and how it went. Thanks!

I used the local parent yahoo groups and found a great
nanny through missionparents. We really wanted to find
someone who was already familiar with our neighborhood
and it has worked out great - she knows all sorts of
fun free activities for them to go which has saved us a
lot of research and money.
