 lwallace2011,I thought that planks were not recommended
 when you have diastasis recti. I read it in the "Loose
 your mummy tummy" book, which is what Stephanie
 Foester's classes are based on (or so I thought). Was
 that something she recommended you to do because your
 diastasis is small?
