1. restless cat napper and barely sleeper. HELP
--------------------------------------------------------

One of my 3-month old twin boys is really struggling to
stay asleep for naps and after his first waking at
night around 12-1am. I have read so many books and
theories and they all seem to contradict each other.
I'm confused, frustrated and SUPER exhausted. Is this a
develpopmental thing? It seems to be getting worse,
starting at about 8 weeks. He goes down easily at
bedtime with a bath, swaddle bouncing routine. Yet when
he wakes later, he seems to be struggling with the
swaddle. I can't figure out if he is more restless in
it or out of it. The only way I can get him to nap more
than 10 minutes is when we walking around and he's in a
carrier. Any ideas or advice is greatly
 appreciated.thanks

i had one exactly the same. i was tripping over my feet
tired. pushing the stroller with my eyes closed. was
really tough. only time she slept was in the stroller,
car, wearing her - or in the swing. do you have a
swing? our fisher price swing had a lever that switched
the direction of the swing from front to back or side
to side. one daughter preferred it one way, the other
liked the other. swaddle plus swing helped. also, our
girl who barely sleeps, still only sleeps from 9:30pm
to 6am at three years old. think she just needs less
sleep than most humans! tough on mama!hugs! i've been
there. hope you find something that helps! oh, i also

about a million times during naps. helped our girls
associate it was nap time...and, i slept on the couch
sitting upright wearing her after she finally fell
asleep. that helped somewhat...at least for me to get
 some rest. best, jen

also, i gave up on swaddles really early. our girls
didn't like them. (unlike most twins, it seemed to me,
 at the time). hth.
