 We're getting ready to childproof our fairly, um, cozy
 San Francisco apartment because it seems crawling is
 just around the corner!Did anyone work with a
 childproofing expert that they recommend? Also, any
 tips for childproofing a smaller space?

 I used Alex at Safety Nook. Their team was great -
 comes and assesses your place, giving you plenty of
 free tips and different options along the way - this
 takes a while, even for our place as they inspect every
 area of any room your babies will be allowed in. You
 can choose to do as much or as little as you want (or
 have them do/install nothing and just pay for the
 consultation, which otherwise comes out of your total
 installation). I've had 2 things break since they came
 8 months ago and when I emailed Alex to find out the
 brand of the pieces, he said they'd come by and fix and
 they did within 2 days. Such great service!

 thought it was really affordable, nice to have it all
 done at once, and my husband was thrilled he didn't
 need to do anything!
