I also used Alex. The first bid he gave me was more
than I wanted to spend. He was very accommodating and
worked with me to get the most important items
installed. His crew was great, too. I definitely
 recommend him.

I have 23 month olds, would love to connect too, and
like you do not have a nanny on Fridays.I found that JP
Murphy playground is good. West Portal is doable. Koret
(at GGP) is totally a 2-parent playground and I do not
recommend if you are on your own. The GGP playground on
10th and Fulton is more manageable but you gotta be
active to avoid one getting too far afield.OH! Another
endorsement for the Zoo playground, although you might
still wish you cloned yourself and had 4
hands.AlessandraMy husband likes the "boat playground",
in GGP at 45th st.We do love the academy--the
 explorer's cove is great.

I have a Maclaren and a Bob. I got the Maclaren first.
It is, in fact, quite portable and would fit in the
trunk of most cars. However, it's not the best for any
terrain other than smooth surfaces. So, I got the Bob.
It is so wonderful. It feels light to push and is
easy to maneuver. My neighbors have 3yo twins who
still ride around in their Bob when their dad goes for
a run. So, a good stroller for a long time. However,
it is not very portable due to its weight and size. I
have an SUV, so I can fit it in if I take the front
wheel off, but I doubt it would fit in most regular car
trunks. Unfortunately, I don't have any experience
 with the City Mini.

We have City Mini and use it since our babies were
born. I highly recommend it. It is light (26 lbs), easy
to maneuver and super easy to fold. When folded it fit
it in the trunk of Prius. It doesn't come with a lot of
accessories, if you want belly bar, cup holder, rain
cover... you have to buy them. We bought the belly bar,
babies love it.I don't have any experience with Bob,
but friends told me it's great in case you want to hike
with it. City Mini is not suitable for hiking or even
jogging (too short handle). City Mini is perfectly fine
on grass in park, but I wouldn't take it to the
mountains. After all it's called CITY Mini :) I don't
do hikes with babies so I really love my stroller. For
me the best part is how quick and easy it folds. You can
 look for the specifications here:
