- Download http://oss.linn.co.uk/trac/wiki/Kinsky
- Turn on the Onkyo before you launch Kinsky
- select NET on the onkyo
- use the menu buttons to open the DLNA option; do not select
anything inside that option
- Launch Kinsky
- It *should* tell you that it can see TX-NR609 ; if not,
right-click on the window border, Tools -> Options -> Network,
select your network connection, exit out of options, right-click,
View -> Rescan Network
- That should be enough to get Kinsky to use the onkyo as its sink.
It can use either a media program server or your on disk files as
its source.
- Media Program source:
- If you are running iTunes you should just be able to access itunes
on the left and play things as normal
- If you are running another media program, it will *probably* show
up under "Library" on the left
- Files Source:
- Get to options per above (just after "Launch Kinsky"). Set the
Local Playlists and Folders options
- Select items on the left in Folder or Local Playlists
