1. When's the best time to have a nanny start?

 I spoke with a nanny agency who recommended having a
 nanny start a few weeks prior to me returning to work. 
 I realize they are suggesting this just in case you
 find the nanny is not a good fit. Has anyone else done
 the same? I only ask because my mother and law wanted
 to take care of the twins my first month back to work. 
 I can't really do that if I want to be around to
 monitor the nanny, but it would save a lot of money. 
 That leads me to my second question, have you all found
 that a 60-some year old women could take care of two 6
 month old babies on her own? My husband and I have
 differing opinions on this. I plan to hire a nanny who
 only has experience with multiples, my mother and law
 does not.Any thoughts or opinions would be
 appreciated!Thanks,

 You should post the previous post on a new thread and
 on the sfpom facebook pg too, I only came back on this
 thread as I was looking for the link to get back on my
 inventory, so I'm worried people won't see the deadline
 is Tue otherwise.
